The greatest pop icon and absolute powerhouse, Halsey (she/they), has officially launched their new makeup line, af94. The color-pop choices, full of vibrant pinks and neons, are a nod to the funky and flirty styles of the 90s.
Cleverly named using their initials, Ashley Frangipane, and the year they were born, 1994, Halsey has set out to create an incredible product that won’t break the bank. That’s right, as if they couldn’t get any more perfect. Af94 is an affordable luxury makeup brand, with prices capping off at $10!
About-Face, Halsey’s other award-winning makeup line, previously launched in January of 2021, permanently lowered prices in April of this year. To help ensure everyone can have a piece of this coveted product, living by the company motto [make up for] “everyone, everywhere, every way.” But even with lowered prices, the “So Good” singer wanted to create entirely new “ready-to-play” cosmetics that look expensive and have the same quality as a high-end product.
Halsey speaks candidly about worldly issues, mental health, body positivity, and acceptance. Of course, they would go above and beyond to ensure their fanbase felt heard, understood, and supported. Can they be any more kind and amazing? We’re swooning.
