Fancy up your bread with some olive oil like a real adult

United By Pop received a sample of Cobram Estate olive oil in exchange for an honest review.

I’m a big fan of olive oil because it’s like butter’s health-conscious cousin. The cousin with really shiny hair and smooth skin who drinks fancy wine and can kind of speak a second language.

So I know you’re not really supposed to cut up an entire baguette from Panera Bread and eat it yourself (that’s probably why they only give you a single piece when you order a salad there… rude), but when I replace slathering it with butter with dipping it in olive oil, I feel much less guilty about it. And kind of refined. Besides, one whole baguette is a lot like that thing where one whole bottle of wine is technically still “a glass.” It’s one piece of bread. Anyways.

Cobram Estate olive oil comes from Australia and California, which caught my attention because I always mentally associated olive oil with Italy? Maybe that’s just my undying love for pasta. (I checked Wikipedia: “Spain is by far the largest producer of olive oil, followed by Italy and Greece.” Mystery solved.) The company really cares about making the best olive oil possible, from growing the olives to picking them to bottling them. They call it “tree to table,” which is adorable.

The best tasting olive oil comes from the best possible olives, so it makes sense that Cobram Estate olive oil tastes amazing. When I started thinking about this post, I initially wanted to throw some spices and Parmesan cheese into the oil to make a little dip (because I’m fancy like that), but honestly, I felt rude messing with the flavor; it was better on its own than with anything I was going to chuck into it. I also don’t have a lot of spices on hand, I’ll admit.

Olive oil has this magic antioxidant stuff in it called polyphenols, which is why it’s a lot higher up on dietician’s lists than butter ever will be (sorry butter, I still love you). Cobram Estate says these polyphenols “have been proven to help fight inflammation, aging and weight gain. They’re also great for your ticker.” See, the reasons for eating an entire baguette just keep growing.

Use your EVOO in cooking, as a dip, in a homemade hair masque, or as a prop for your corgi’s modeling debut. Search where you can find Cobram Estate olive oil near you (I found it in Roche Bros supermarkets!).

I have been surfing online greater than 3 hours these days,
yet I by no means discovered any fascinating
article like yours. It is pretty price sufficient for me.
In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made good content material as you did, the net will likely be much
    more helpful than ever before.
