If you’re anything like me you’ll have around 9 different types of hairbrush laying around your house. From radial brushes to Tangle Teezer’s and cushion brushes, I’ve tried them all and if I’m honest they all tend to leave me with the same disappointed and slightly flat feeling. When I got sent an Arconic brush for review, I was sceptical. How could a curved paddle brush make any difference to my hectic life?
I was so wrong. Specifically designed by hairdressing maestro John Gillespie, the Arconic brush which was five years in the making may look like an ordinary paddle brush, but on second glance you’ll see the distinctive curve allowing you to effortlessly add that extra oomph to sometimes lifeless long hair.
To give you a bit of background my hair is fine but there’s a lot of it – meaning that blow-drying is sometimes a chore that I curse and put on the back burner. The Arconic brush allows you to dry and smooth large sections of hair quickly and the curve helps give that natural looking bounce. Another fault I commonly find with brushes is simply that they break – I’ve lost count of the amount of times the bristles have fallen out of brushes and scratched my scalp. That’s not the case with John Gillespie’s creative design, this brush is made using quality materials yet still feels gentle. Once you use this you’ll be reaching for this brush every morning without fail.
