Comics For A Strange World will make you lol at least 7 times
The festive season is well and truly here, and it’s the perfect time to beef up your bookshelves. With all the Christmas distractions going on, coffee table reads you can easily flick to different pages are the perfect option. Luckily for you, we’ve found just the thing; ‘Comics For A Strange World’ by Reza Farazmand.
The strapline for the book reads, ‘absurd comics for our absurd times’ and that’s exactly what this is. This book is bonkers, hilarious and utterly refreshing all in one go. It’s packed full of short comics that are a parody of the world we live in, and our obsession with consumerism and finding meaning in life.
If you’ve ever read Reza Farazmand’s webcomic ‘Poorly Drawn Lines’, then you’ll know more or less what you’re in for… If not feast your eyes on some of the strips below.
If you flick through you’re guaranteed to be greeted with irreverent humour, a dash of common sense observations and just the right amount of dark comedy. In fact, I’m willing to bet that you’ll laugh out loud at least seven times while flicking through.
‘Comics For A Strange World’ is available now in the UK and the US.
