The sun is setting, results have been received and it really is the end of summer. We’ve had some true bangers on the airwaves to get down to over the sunshine(?) season but some have stood out a lot more than others.
Taking the crown for the ultimate summer song are hot pop stars Calvin Harris and Rihanna with their smash hit ‘This Is What You Came For’ as decided by The Box Plus Network.
The song, which has recently been revealed to be co-written by Taylor Swift using a pseudonym, had some tough competition from artists such as Major Lazer, Zara Larsson, Beyonce and Drake in battle for ‘Song of the Summer 2016’ title, but it was the Queen of R&B and British DJ who took the top spot. King of pop, Justin Timberlake, was runner-up with his first single in three years followed by Sia ft. Sean Paul in third place.
