K-pop group NCT DREAM brought their European leg of the THE DREAM SHOW 3 : DREAM()SCAPE tour to a spectacular close in London. The OvO Wembley Arena turned green as the air was full with excitement by the fans, NCTzens. At the moment the lights dimmed, the energy exploded. It was time to escape in into MARK, RENJUN, JENO, HAECHAN, JAEMIN, CHENLE, and JISUNG their world. Starting with the first song; ‘BOX’.
The night took off with ‘SOS’ right after, and from there, it was clear that NCT DREAM wasn’t holding back their energy. The group’s powerful choreography sets the tone early on, flowing into the sharp moves of songs as ‘Poision’ and ‘Drippin”. Meanwhile, the visuals projected between outfit changes whom were visually pleasing to see; evoking dark, vampiric vibes, that added a cinematic element into the show. One of the highlights of the evening was when they were performing ‘Arcade’, where the boys switched into 90s-inspired high school hip-hop outfits. The energy was already high, but when they launched into ‘We Go Up’ the entire crowd started to sing along!
But it’s not only fun and parties – NCT DREAM shifted the vibe of the concert completely by impressing the crowd with their vocals with ‘Never Goodbye’ and ‘Breathing’. The performance silenced the crowd, and it was a powerful reminder of NCT DREAM’s their versatility. They can easily just hit you like that. (Thanks boys, we were sobbing!). But, after another outfit change, they kicked off with their fun and quirky songs again as ‘Yoghurt Shake’ and the nostalgic cover of H.O.T.’s iconic ‘Candy’.
Almost two hours later and the concert came to an end after performing their hits ‘ISTJ’ and ‘Smoothie’. Yet, fans weren’t ready to say goodbye – after showcasing their fan signs on the cream it was time for the encore! MARK thanked the fans, promising they’ll return to London. We will wait for you, NCT DREAM!
