No sophomore slump for Olivia Rodrigo — her second studio album, GUTS, its lead single, “Vampire,” and the album track “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” have scooped up six total GRAMMY nominations for 2024.
“Vampire” dropped on June 30, 2023, well ahead of the GUTS release on September 8, 2023, and serving as a perfect taste of the body of work to come. The song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Streaming Songs chart.
GUTS followed Olivia’s debut studio album, SOUR (May 2021), which won Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance in addition to Olivia’s Best New Artist win at the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Featuring a decidedly pop-rock sound, the 12-track standard edition of GUTS included the singles “Vampire,” “Bad Idea Right?” and “Get Him Back.”
