SM debuted GOT the beat back in 2022 with the controversial single ‘Step Back’ and now they are to make their first comeback with a six-track mini album and the main single is ‘Stamp On It’.

The group features the soloist BoA, Girls’ Generation’ Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, Red Velvet’s Wendy and Seulgi and from the 4th generation of K-pop, aespa’s Karina and Winter. SM proved that they had the perfect mix to create a supergroup.

The group already performed the single at the 2023 SM TOWN LIVE and it appears that they finally changed the direction of the group’s songs. As said before, their first single ‘Step Back’ was a little controversial because it encouraged feud between women, even though the song is good the lyrics lacked a strong message to show the feminine power that only a group like GOT the beat can.

‘Stamp On It’ carries a message of leaving a mark with powerful attitudes and as expected the performance had an amazing choreography and strong vocals from each of the girls.

The mini album seems very promising and we can’t wait to listen to their new songs.
