BamBam has released a new single, ‘Wheels Up’, featuring the Oakland-based recording artist MAYZIN.
BamBam first performed the single at the NBA Halftime show during the finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers, making him the first-ever K-Pop artist to do so and his first solo performance in the US. BamBam is also a global ambassador for Golden State Warriors.
The single is currently No.1 on the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 20 countries, including Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, New Zealand, and Thailand. It debuted at No.3 on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs Chart with 500,192 mentions.

Earlier this week, the Golden State Warriors officially announced the creation of a new affiliate company, Golden State Entertainment, that will create original content to tell compelling stories that crossover sports and entertainment. ‘Wheels Up’ is the first project released via Golden State Entertainment (GSE) and NewStyle Media Group (NSMG), and it’s a first-of-its-kind international collaboration.
“NSMG sent over a handful of demos, including ‘Wheels Up’, which I immediately loved,” said BamBam in a press release. “This song gave me a very strong connection with sports and the lyrics are really cool. I like the artwork, it’s representative of me going to San Francisco, where we debuted the song, with the title ‘Wheels Up’. Throughout the process, I enjoyed getting to know MAYZIN and his music and I personified my own version through the lyrics. I hope fans around the world enjoy the song.”
‘Wheels Up’ is available on all major streaming platforms.
