Fresh is a thrilling horror movie that follows a young woman’s dating experience and the frustrations that come along with dating online.
Noa (Edgar-Jones) has had some terrible luck in the dating department lately. Every time she meets a guy online or in real life, he turns out to be a jerk. However, all of that suddenly changes when she meets Steve (Stan) at her local supermarket. He’s a good-looking, charismatic doctor who instantly captures Noa’s interest. Could this guy finally be the one?
Not so fast though because as it turns out, Steve has no social media presence which immediately causes Noa’s best friend, Mollie (Jonica T. Gibbs), to become skeptical of him.
Disregarding her friend’s concern and getting swept up with Steve, Noa agrees to go on a romantic getaway with him. As you might have guessed, things quickly take a turn for the worst.
What transpires is a truly horrifying, weird, and downright creepy journey that is definitely worth checking out; maybe just go easy on the popcorn before you do.
