M.O’s ‘Who Do You Think Of’ has been sounding almost a little TOO good with the British heatwave we’ve currently been having, but that didn’t stop us catching up with Annie, Frankee and Nadine to find out more about the future of M.O and what advise they’d give to young people looking to make it as a band.

Congratulations on the new single ‘Who Do You Think Of?’ How would you say this track is different from other stuff you’ve done before?

A- Thank you! We don’t think it’s too far from the stuff we have done before really.

F – It’s a summer track with a hard beat, we see it as just a natural progression from our other tracks.

This obviously isn’t your first single, is it still really exciting when a song gets released and you can see it climbing up the charts, or are you used to it by now?

A – It’s an amazing feeling and you can never get used to it! We’ve worked really hard to get to this point so it’s always a new thrill.

MO

The new single is getting great reception on social media, how would you describe the support your fans have given you?

N – Our fan support has been amazing, we wouldn’t be able to do it without them!

F – Yes we love the MOB, that’s our fandom – they’ve been there from the start and it’s always amazing to see it growing.

The video looked like it was great fun to shoot, what was the best bit about it?

F- The whole video was a great day, working for the first time with Charlotte Rutherford was amazing, we lover her!

We saw you’re really active on social media. What do you like the most about Twitter? Instagram?

F- Twitter is great for chatting directly to fans- we can instantly know what they like and don’t like.

N- Yes it’s so great to talk to our fans and Instagram is great for selfies!

If you could do anything differently in the past what would it be? Recording a different track? Releasing a different single?

N – I don’t think we regret anything, everything has gone so great for us and any mistakes you make are your own and you learn from them.

Describe the perfect day off.

N- Perfect day would be eating and chilling and not wearing make up! Really relax!

F – Yeah a good boxset and lots of food!

What advice would you give to someone looking to work in the music industry or be part of a band? Is there anything you wish you knew when you first started?

N – Don’t believe everything you are told, be true to yourself and be patient!

F- And it’s hard work so be prepared to work.

What are you most looking forward to in the next year?

F- Getting more music out, and meeting new members of the MOB.

A – We’re also looking forward to our live shows – we love performing live so much, we can’t wait to get out to and perform!

One last question, for someone who may have never heard of you before, why should they listen to your music?

A- I think anyone wanting to hear old 90s sound come back around should listen to us!
